Handicapped Parking
The Department of Energy accommodate employees and visitors with disabilities. Headquarters employees needing handicapped parking at the Forrestal or Germantown facilities should complete the parking application and submit it, along with medical documentation and the medical release form, to the parking office for their site.

In instances when the Parking Management personnel can visually assess an applicant's mobility impairment (i.e. use of crutches, walker, etc.), temporary parking permit may be granted. For individuals whose need is not apparent, a letter from their attending physician and a medical release form must accompany the application.
