FEHB/FSA/FEDVIP Open
Season
November 12 - December 10, 2007
The Open Season election period for
Federal Health Insurance (FEHB), Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program (FEDVIP), and the Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) are
coming up soon. The open season is your opportunity to evaluate your insurance needs for the coming
year and make changes to your health insurance plan(s). You may examine health, dental, and vision insurance
plans to meet your needs. In addition, you can take advantage of the
money-saving FSA program.
During
Open Season, employees may make enroll, cancel, or make
changes to their FEHB coverage for 2008. In addition, employees
make elections for the FSA program
for 2008. The FSA is an excellent way to save money on
out-of-pocket dependant and health care expenses. Please
remember that FSA requires a new election each year as
participation
does not
roll over from one year to the next.
