New Employee Orientation
Welcome to the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). You are set to begin an exciting new chapter in your career with the Federal Government. Whether you are entering civilian service for the first time, returning after a break in service, or transferring from another Federal agency, there is important information that you need to make this transition a successful endeavor.

Upon clicking the button below, you will enter the first component of the DOE New Employee Orientation Program. This program will provide valuable information regarding your employment and provide many of the employment forms required. Please take time to read the information presented and complete and print the forms to bring with you when you report for duty.

Your orientation program will continue on the first day of work in the Entrance-on-Duty Session. You will attend important briefings and then report to your office. Your orientation will then continue as you become acclimated to your program office and the agency.

In the meantime, please feel free to browse the Employee WorkLife Center and DOE Websites for additional insight and information.
